Founded in 2020, NLST is the ideal learning environment for players looking to master and develop the ins and outs of the beautiful game. Players have the opportunity to improve technically as well as understand game situations to gain the confidence to perform in their team environment. They find joy in their own game as they learn how to succeed on the field. Our objective is to help individual players accelerate the development journey through fundamental repetition and understanding of the game. Empowering the athletes to be comfortable making decisions with the ball on their feet. We want to make NLST your home off the field and utilize the game to foster self-confidence, discipline, and independence

Ilyas Tasci is a Swiss native born and raised in the european soccer academy environment. At the age of 14 his family decided to move to New Jersey where he continued his soccer development. After a promising youth and collegiate career he moved on to share his passion through coaching and continued his work in the soccer community.
Having excelled in Bergen County as a top youth player, Tasci continued his playing career when he was recruited to Montclair State University where he became a four-year starter for their nationally ranked Men's Soccer Program. He was recognized as an elite forward/midfield player with outstanding vision and excellent finishing abilities. Tasci is currently ranked 13th all time in goal scoring in school history and was part of the NCAA record breaking home unbeaten streak from 2005-2009. In 2010 he was honored by the Bergen Record as part of the New Jersey Player of the decade team. Tasci graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and a Masters degree in Sports Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
After graduating from college; Tasci coached at the college level with New Jersey City University (NCAA Div. 3), St. Peters College (NCAA Div 1), and Nyack College (NCAA Div. 2). In 2011 he joined the New York Red Bulls MLS team as a youth academy coach. Accumulating a wealth of knowledge from a professional environment throughout his 6 years coaching and scouting players for their youth academy teams.

All his experiences and network are now being shared through Next Level Soccer training at their training center in La Verne, CA with the many players and families that choose to aspire making it to the next level here.
